TUITION + FINANCIAL AID
Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the 2024-2025 School Year is $29,500
Included in Tuition
Academic Instruction: Academic coursework meets the high school graduation requirements of the New Hampshire Department of Education.
Artistic Instruction: Artistic training from professional instructors and artists develops students’ skills and prepares them for higher education and the workforce.
Internship Opportunities: NESA’s community partnerships and City Campus Model provide a wealth of opportunity to apply learning beyond the classroom. We work with each student to build unique internship opportunities that align academic, artistic and career interests.
College Counseling: NESA is committed to helping each student explore and pursue their own post-graduate pathway. Students interested in higher education will receive support in their college search, essay writing, artistic portfolio development, interview preparation and audition process.
Career Preparation: Students will receive one-on-one career mentorship and counseling from NESA instructors. We support, nurture and develop professional interests in all artistic and professional fields.
Technology: Each student will be provided with a Chromebook computer to support their studies. Students may opt out and bring their own device, but there will not be a reduction in tuition if they choose to use their own device.
Additional Costs
Classroom Supplies: A list of required classroom supplies will be provided in advance of the upcoming school year. Students and their family are responsible for purchasing these materials.
Dance Equipment: Students enrolled in the Dance discipline should allocate $500 per year to spend on shoes, attire, and equipment.
Health Insurance: All NESA students are required to carry insurance.
Lunch: Students bring a bag lunch or purchase lunch at one of the Lebanon restaurants.
Transportation: Transportation to internships, concerts, school dances or other activities will be the responsibility of the student’s family unless it is a required component of the daily curriculum. To learn more about transportation to and from school, visit our Campus and Facilities page.
Extra-Curricular Activities: NESA will not assume responsibility for the payment of activities in which students engage outside of the school day.
Scholarships
Prospective New England School of the Arts students will have the opportunity to offset a portion of their tuition through the NESA Angel Scholarship Fund. They will also be considered for merit-based scholarships based on their application supplements.
Financial Aid
We understand that sending your child to an independent school is a significant financial commitment. NESA seeks to welcome all students ready to join community, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. We encourage any family in need of assistance to apply for financial aid. We are always happy to speak to families about how we can support your financial needs and make our school a reality for your child.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
NESA works with School and Student Services (SSS), the financial aid service by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), to help determine a family's need. The SSS code number for NESA is 201015.
To begin your financial aid application, complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) is the cornerstone of our financial aid application process. By submitting a PFS, you’re granting SSS permission to analyze your financial information. Using their unique methodology, they estimate the amount you can contribute to school expenses and forward that estimate to NESA. It’s one form, for one fee, for any number of applicant children, for any number of schools. Many other area schools also partner with SSS in their financial aid processes.
Use the resources from SSS linked below to complete the process, and to reach out to our team directly with any questions or challenges.
